In Tibetan, (Tashi means) "auspicious,"(tak means) "sign or symbol," and (gyay means) "eight.
The set of Eight Auspicious Symbols are very popular in Tibetan tradition. In Sanskrit they are known as Ashtamangala, (Astha meaning) "eight" and (mangala) "auspicious." This is hand made by one of the greatest artisan in Patan out of 9.25 silver. This pendant can be worn on both sides. The middle design is double Vajra. Double Vajra symbolizes indestructible.
